CSC 980 TAN Synthetic super high load, high temperature, high speed, water resistance and corrosion resistance Calcium Sulfonate Complex grease CSC 980 TAN is made of totally new and exclusive proprietary CSC blended with 100% premium synthetic base oil. It has an extreme temperature range service for today’s demanding requirement. CSC 980 TAN provides excellent extreme pressure (EP) and anti wear (AW) protection with the thickener’s inherent EP and AW properties. CSC 980 TAN also provide un-parallel corrosion protection. It will easily out perform the best mineral base oil greases under similar condition. CSC 980 TAN’s advance synthetic base oil features superior low temperature fluidity for cold start-up (-28 deg C) when heavy torque is usually induced on bearings. Viscosity of base oil remains very stable even at elevated operating temperature (201deg C) due to the high Viscosity Index of its synthetic base oil. A high Viscosity Index at high operation temperature also ensures better resistance to shearing. The synthetic base oil provides excellent resistance against oxidation under harsh environment and degradation due to aging. CSC 980 TAN has a high thermal stability and low evaporation rate. This allows for intervals between regressing to be extended to reduce production down time and saves on grease consumption. It does not harden or “vaporize” at high temperature. The State-of-The-Art “CSC” thickener (30%) apart from carrying the base oil imparts inherent EP and AW properties. This enables it to outperform many other premium synthetic greases that are usually blended with much smaller amount of EP and AW additives. Its high content (30%) thickener formulation further ensures that hydrodynamic lubrication is achieved at all time. Other premium grease tends to fail when their EP and AW additives have been exhausted over extended period of non lubrication. CSC 980 TAN demonstrated very little change in the consistency of the grease under ASTM D-217 Mechanical Work Stability Test (refer Chart No. 1, page 2).
